Utah UTV Rentals in Spring Town: User review
“You might feel like you’ve escaped all the summer traffic, as there is very little traffic on this excellent dirt road up to the tops of the mountain and even to skyline drive. Once at the top, you can head north to Potter’s Pond or south to Ephraim Canyon or Joe’s Valley Reservoir. These routes offer beautiful drives with fantastic views and are among the least trafficked sections of Skyline Drive. As of June 21, there is still snow at the top, so it’s quite cool—remember to take your coat and watch out for afternoon thunderstorms.
There isn’t much lodging in Spring Town, so it’s best to head north or south to Mount Pleasant or Ephraim for accommodation. Nonetheless, Spring Canyon Road, leading to the top of the mountain, is one of the coolest places, offering beautiful scenery and great camping spots. If you want to rent a UTV nearby, we offer rentals to enhance your adventure.
The hunting near the top of Spring City Canyon is excellent, with plenty of deer and elk in the area. The terrain can be quite rough, but it’s a beautiful place to explore. Occasionally, you might encounter sheep grazing, which can be a bit smelly. If you’re lucky you might see a bear in this country.
Spring Town offers a unique and beautiful UTV experience. Having a UTV is advantageous, even though the main road is well-maintained to the top. Once you head north or south from the top, the roads can become much rougher, deterring most traffic. This is part of the reason why this section of the mountain is less frequented, making it a perfect spot for a family UTV ride. It might be even better in the winter—put tracks on your UTV or rent one of our tracked UTVs and enjoy the solitude, as there are hardly any snowmobilers around.”
