Getting There
To reach the trail for exiting Manti Canyon, start from Skyline Drive and follow Manti Canyon Road for approximately 3.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bench Road. From there, continue on Bench Road for about 0.5 miles, and keep an eye out for an unmarked trail on the left. Although there are several trails in this area, they all eventually merge onto Burnt Hill Road, which marks the beginning of this route.
To access the Stock Driveway trail, start from Manti Canyon Road and take the Patton Trailhead (5120). Continue until you reach the Patton Trail (50193) and take the right fork to begin your journey on the Stock Driveway trail.

While the trail is mostly downhill, it features several uphill rocky sections that appear just after some deep mud holes. Be sure to use low gear and 4-wheel drive to navigate these climbs with ease. The trail is mostly forested, with a few open areas suitable for lunch or breaks. At the end of the trail, you will be rewarded with a great view of Manti and the Mormon Temple.
The trail is 7 miles long and connects with two other trails: Stock Driveway and Heaven and Earth. The total time to complete the trail is about 2 hours. Starting just off Bench Road and ending at State Route 89, this trail offers a scenic and challenging ride.
Stock Driveway Trail
With a variety of terrain, this 7-mile trail offers a fun introduction to the Arapeen system from Manti Canyon. The trail features rocky hill climbs in the west, transitioning to fast straight sections in the east, with more than a few mudholes during wetter weather. It connects to Patton Trail in the west and reaches Skyline Drive at nearly 10,000 feet in the east. Completing the trail takes about 1 hour, and it is a bit easier than the Manti Canyon trail, making it suitable for a wider range of off-road enthusiasts.
